Summer fun day in village
Renowned Northern Ireland television presenter and football commentator Jackie Fullerton will open a Summer Fun Day on Saturday, June 27, at St Patrick’s Church, Broughshane.
Looking forward to it, Dean John Bond, said: “We are starting with Fancy Dress for all children in the village and beyond, starting from the Community Centre, Knockan Road.
“The Fancy Dress Parade will assemble at 1.30pm together with floats, vintage cars, band etc. and walk up through the Village at 2pm to the field beside the church.”
Once at that venue, judging of the Fancy Dress will take place and there will be lots of family entertainment and activities including games, crafts, stalls, and face painting as well as a pipe band.
