Each child put in a great deal of effort in the hope of winning a prize and all children had at least one item entered.

Despite being a small school, there were an outstanding number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places awarded to each classroom.

Ballytober Primary School pupils achieved an impressive number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places at the recent Portstewart Music Festival.

The pupils were prepared for their Speech and Drama classes by the Principal, Mrs Elaine Anderson. To her delight, Alice Anderson, Cameron Black, Timothy Cheshire, Daniel Edwards, Jessica Lees, Tegan Love, Ross McCollum, Eloise McIntyre, Rachel McKirgan, Jessica McLernon and Molly Parke achieved a record number of places for their poetic performances.

Ballytober performed brilliantly in the Music Section of the festival. Under the direction of Mrs Gwen Cochrane, the school’s music teacher, a number of talented pupils certainly hit the high notes.

Congratulations to Mischa Barrett, Tegan Love, Eloise McIntyre, Rachel McKirgan and Molly Parke who collected a fantastic array of awards for their vocal talents.
