The Illegals return to Lisburn

THE Illegals return to Lisburn’s Island Hall on November 17 with their show ‘A Common Thread’.

The band features the vocal talents of Irish Eurovision winner, Niamh Kavanagh – one of the top female vocalists ever to come out of Ireland.

‘A Common Thread’ sees Niamh and the band at their very best belting out a superb set from the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac and others from the West Coast sound - highlighting the extraordinary effect these two great bands have had on the music of the last 40 years.

‘A Common Thread’ is a thrilling night of vocal harmony, ringing acoustics and rockin’ guitars featuring timeless classics from Linda Rondstadt, and a duet originally performed by Bonnie Raitt and Don Henley – as well as all the top favourites from Eagles and Fleetwood Mac: Hotel California, The Chain, Desperado, Dreams and more.

A third local man, Alyn Watson from Hillsborough, has been added to line-up, to join drummer Joe Hanratty and guitarist Peter Cochrane.

Having crafted their sound for over 15 years, The Illegals serve up a terrific night of unforgettable songs and real entertainment.

Tickets are on sale now from the Box Office on 9250 9254.
