The return of the Inside Outside Piano Bar at Flowerfield

FLOWERFIELD Arts Centre is offering free musical entertainment with a difference on the afternoon of Saturday July 28 as it welcomes back the Inside Outside Piano Bar.

This will be the third year that the centre has offered this unique entertainment as part of the Red Sails Festival celebrations in Portstewart. The concert features free music in an elegant style, played by John Scott Trotter in the public park at Flowerfield.

Pianist John Trotter, in proper evening attire, will play a selection of popular tunes on the grand piano, including favourites from the Jimmy Kennedy song book.

The doors at the front of the auditorium will be opened and the lovely Flowerfield grand piano will be nosed out into the park for this special event, which runs from 2.30pm to 4pm on Saturday July 28.

So if you go down to the woods that day, you are in for a NICE surprise (no bears, though). An informal bar service will be serving a range of soft refreshment. This outside free performance will move inside if the rain comes early. Telephone (028) 7083 1400 for further information.
