The Sewing Machine Orchestra
On Friday last the city of Londonderry bore witness to a unique composer - Martin Messier from Quebec in Canada.
Martin is a fan of old sewing machines, but not in a way that you might appreciate!!!
He resuscitates old Singer Sewing Machines put to sleep years ago in order to release in some magical ways the luminous and sonorous presence of the past.

The event took place at the Old Shirt Factory on Patrick Street as part of the Music City celebrations on Friday last!
