Joe McNally, Senior project Worker with Action Ability Belfast, gave an insight into the show’s challenging storyline. “The show centres upon religious and cultural division which continues to form barriers within our communities, this unfortunately is something we are all too familiar with,” he explained. “The group have come up with a script that is funny, challenging and thought provoking.”

Actress Grace Tobin, who plays the lead role Belle, added: “The experience we gained from performing Oh Mummy Mia to a full house at the Grand Opera House and working with Tim McGarry was unbelievable, I never dreamt in a million years that I would even be on the Grand Opera Stage never mind perform to a full house.”

Also appearing as very special guests are the fantastic Motown Brothers. Motown Brothers band member Darryl Hendrix commented: “What an opportunity this is for us to perform at such a fantastic venue and work with such a wonderful cast of people.”

Action Ability Belfast aims to promote the social inclusion of all persons with a disability into the social, leisure, economic and cultural life of their community, and works throughout North, South, East and West Belfast.

Tickets for the show can be purchased at the Grand Opera House Box Office on 028 9024 1919 or online at www.goh.co.uk.
