Album has more layers than an Inuit
After three listens to the new Elbow album, I’m predicting it’s going to be amazing.
Like an Inuit striptease, their sixth album slowly sheds a multitude of layers to reveal hidden wonders.
Don’t be deceived by the fact The Take Off And Landing Of Everything is number one in the Tesco chart, Elbow haven’t sold their souls to the man. In achieving commercial success the band have managed to maintain that feeling whereby these songs were written for your ears only. GC
