Album with story giving inspiration
Going Back Home is a rock’n’roll album full of stories with an inspiring underlying story that is truly rock’n’roll.
The album was recorded in just a week by Wilko Johnson of Dr Feelgood fame along with Who frontman Roger Daltry.
The reason for the rush is that Johnson was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and given nine months to live. The end result certainly doesn’t sound rushed and is a fitting way to end a career. GC
