Beady Eye plough their own furrow
To say Beady Eye are the band Oasis could have been would be to steal a line from Alan Partridge’s copybook.
The truth is they don’t come close to filling the void left by Oasis. What they have come up with however, at the second attempt, is an album boasting an arsenal of solid rock songs. In sharing the songwriting duties Liam Gallagher and his bandmates do a decent job of ploughing their own furrow with standout tracks ‘Flick Of The Finger’, ‘Soul Love’, ‘Soon Come Tomorrow’ and ‘Iz Rite’.
