Blood Brothers returns

Often described as the Liverpudlian West Side Story, Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins Mickey and Edward who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with tragic consequences.

Shrouded in superstition and sadness, it is a story of a class divide that breaks through blood and kin.

The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me Its Not True with Maureen Nolan, of the world-renowned pop group ‘The Nolan Sisters’, reprising her role as the tragic Mrs Johnstone.

Currently enjoying its fourteenth year in the West End, few musicals have received quite such acclaim in recent years as Willy Russell’s extraordinary story, continuing to enjoy standing ovations at every overwhelming performance.

Blood Brother runs at the Grand Opera House from Tuesday March 27 to Saturday April 7 with both matinee and evening shows available.
