Julian Fellowes

Lord Julian Fellowes, Oscar-winning screenwriter and creator of multi-award winning ITV period drama, Downton Abbey, will host a Q&A at Cinemagic Belfast on Friday March 21 in The Grand Opera House.

The Cinemagic Film and Television Festival event, hosted by UTV’s Marc Mallet, is part of Creativity Month, an initiative of the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, in partnership with Culture Northern Ireland and the Nerve Centre, featuring a month-long programme of events, workshops and conferences to celebrate creativity and the Creative Industries .

Over five hundred young people from schools, community groups and Cinemagic film projects, across the province, will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and hear from Cinemagic patron, Julian Fellowes, about his distinguished career in film and television.

Audience members will also find out about Cinemagic’s 2014 plans including a new ground-breaking project, just one in a series of high profile initiatives to mark the beginning of Cinemagic’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.

The event takes place from 11.00am-12.30pm on Friday March 21 in The Grand Opera House, Belfast. Places are free of charge but must be reserved by emailing [email protected]
