Creative rhythm and rhyme at the Strabane Playhouse

A free 10-week creative writing programme will start this month at The Alley Theatre in Strabane.

Run in partnership with The Playhouse, the course starts on Tuesday January 27, and will encourage participants to express themselves through poetry, and in the process gain an Open College Network qualification.

Tutor Abby Oliveira is a performance poet, playwright and storyteller based in the North West.

“Through this programme Abbey will invite with participants to join a fun programme of rhyme, rhythm and words, and to share your experiences through poetry” Edel Murphy, Education officer at The Playhouse said.
