IN PICTURES: North coast production of 'Calendar Girls' will support Macmillan Cancer Support

A forthcoming production of ‘Calendar Girls’ on the north coast is set to entertain audiences and, more importantly, support a vital cancer charity.

The award-winning Portrush Music Society is set to present the musical version of ‘Calendar Girls’ in Portrush Town Hall from November 24-28.

And, the members of the Society chose which charity they would like to support during the run – Macmillan Cancer Support.

In a post on social media, the Society said: “As part of our production of Calendar Girls, Portrush Music Society is proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity chosen by our members and close to so many hearts.

"There will be a bucket collection at every performance, giving our audiences the opportunity to support the incredible work Macmillan does for people affected by cancer.

"Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for helping us make a difference, both on and off the stage."
