Major change for Embrace
People change. Friends who say they’ll never have children, have children. Colleagues who say they’ll never play golf, play golf.
Likewise Embrace have undergone a major change with their sixth album after an eight-year hiatus. During that period it would appear the Yorkshire five-piece have pared back their indieness and beefed up on a diet of electro. In that respect it’s not a bad album, but this is unrecognisable as the band who once urged fans to come back to what they knew. GC
