Mrs Dalloway comes to life at the Island

The fabulous award-winning Dyad Productions, the team behind Female Gothic, I, Elizabeth, The Diaries of Adam and Eve, Austen’s Women and The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe return to the Island Arts Centre on Friday March 27 at 8pm with an a whirlwind performance of Virginia Woolf’s classic novel.

‘Richly re-imagined’ the play conjures up the hopes and regrets of middle-and upper-class London in 1923. It zooms in on the shell-shocked Septimus Smith and Clarissa Dalloway, a woman who realizes in the course of one day, while preparing for a high society function, that she has lived a life of missed chances.
