Rabbit frontman on solo foray
Owl John is the moniker under which Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchinson has realised his debut solo album.
It’s far enough removed from his group’s work to merit a solo foray, though not extricated so much that it will alienate fans of the cult Scottish band.
Frightened Rabbit didn’t exactly follow a template, still Owl John manages to meander further off the beaten track. It’s an album that requires persistence, but the rewards are plentiful. GC
