‘The Big Dream‘ from David Lynch

Director David Lynch’s second album is aptly titled ‘The Big Dream’.

Each track has a surreal, dream like aspect, resulting in songs of varying quality.

Lynch isn’t a great singer, but his ecchoing, reverb heavy vocals put me in mind of 1960’s dream pop, which is prevalent in his work. ‘Cold Wind Blowin’ and ‘Are You Sure‘ wouldn’t be out of place in ‘Twin Peaks‘, for example.

Lynch does almost everything on the album, leaving his unique mark all over it. If you like Lynch, you’ll like this.
