Theatre company present play about intolerance
THE Good Relations Office and The Arts Programme of Moyle District Council joined forces to present Red Card Theatre in their play, Denial, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day last week.
Red Card Theatre company wrote the play after a visit to Auschwitz some years back and showed the lives of a Holocaust survivor juxtaposed with the modern day lives of people who still carried the intolerance and predjudice of Nazi Germany. Performances in Cushendall, Ballycastle and Bushmills were followed by thought-provoking discussion with the audience.The performances were well attended and well received in all venues.
