Time to get little monkeys reading!
Coleraine Librarywill celebrate National Bookstart Week 2015 by inviting babies and pre-school children (age 0-4) and their parents or carers to a special Rhythm and Rhymes session in the library.
‘Every little monkey deserves a story and a cuddle’, so that’s why this June UK charity Book Trust is calling for all parents and carers to take their cheeky chimps to local libraries to make some jungle-themed reading adventures.
This year’s theme Jungle Adventures, is based on Giles Andreae’s beloved picture book Rumble in the Jungle. A special free copy of the book will be given to all children who come along to one of the library’s Rhythm and Rhyme sessions.
The local event will be held in Coleraine Library on Friday, June 12 from 10.30am.
