Live Issue also feature regularly on the Revelation Channel in the UK and Europe. In February 2012, the group was invited to perform at the “International Festival of Country Music” in Belfast, there sharing the stage with artists such as Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs and George Hamilton IV.

Live Issue are: Colin Elliott, Roy Dreaning, Sam Armstrong, Carl Sands and Lisburn man, Ivan McLernon. Colin is the Principal of Lisburn’s Brownlee Primary School but is currently on a career break so he can work full time in music and album production. Live Issue are not only renowned for their musical and singing ability but also for their warmth, humility, sense of humour and love for the Lord.

Laura Dowey is a relatively new name to Gospel Music and has only been singing publicly for just over a year. In that time she has had the opportunity to not only support Live Issue and lead worship in her home church, but also to sing alongside Eurovision Song Contest winner, Dana at a recent concert in Enniskillen Cathedral. Her relaxed style and powerful voice have impressed audiences throughout Northern Ireland. In August she was a “showstopper” at Gospel Fest, the largest Gospel Music festival of its kind in the UK. With further invitations to sing in mainland UK, Laura is definitely an artist who has a bright future ahead of her.

They won the prestigious Fallon Cup at the 116th International Classical Music competition at the Feis Ceoil in Dublin’s RDS. The choir’s technically advanced vocal arrangements will please everyone who enjoys choral music at its best.
