Training Seminar on how to use heat pumps

WITH increasing energy costs throughout agricultural businesses, more people are looking at lower cost methods of providing their energy needs.

A heat pump is an electrically powered device that acquires low temperature heat from the ground or air and upgrades it to a higher, more useful, temperature by using a simple refrigeration process.

If you are interested in finding out more about heat pumps a series of training seminars is being held by CAFRE and one will be held in Ballymena on Thursday, March 14.

The seminars will cover the types of heat pump system available. It will also look at how a heat pump can be used to provide lower cost water and space heating and examples of how heat pumps can be used in the agri-food sector will be presented.

The costs and benefits of the system will be covered including the financial incentives for using this technology within your business.

As places at the seminar are limited please book your place by contacting Rebecca Coalter at [email protected] telephone Technology Admin on 028 9442 6770.
