‘Turn out’ for history fun events!

Blacksmith demonstrations! Interactive history exhibits! Musket firing demonstrations!  Children’s activities and much more!

Ballymoney Community Cohesion Project and Ballymoney Museum, invites you to “turn out” and learn more about the pivotal historical events that have shaped the local area, through a weekend of living history events!

Events commence from 11am – 4pm on Friday 20th in Castlecroft Square, where there will be a blacksmith demonstration and 1798 weapons demonstration all day.  Don’t miss the chance to see a pike being crafted, handle a musket, and learn more about the stories behind the weapons.  Who used them and why?   The Ullans Centre will also be joining us in the square throughout the day.
