Two bursaries available for JohnHewitt School

Coleraine Borough Arts Committee has announced that there are two bursaries available for anyone living in the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area for theJohn Hewitt International Summer School in Armagh, from July 27-31.

said: “As a regular attender to the John Hewitt Summer School and I am delighted that the Committee has decided to sponsor these bursaries for this week-long arts festival for the third year running.

“This is a great opportunity for local and emerging writers, painters and musicians to be awarded a bursary to cover the cost of accommodation and the week’s sessions.”

This year’s programme include readings from Tessa Gallagher, Bernard O’Donaghue, Yasmin Alibhi-Brown and Ian Sansom in addition to the popular writing workshops. To apply visit www.johnhewittsociety.org/bursary. Deadline is June 15.
