Two junior shows launched at MADS

Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society has launched its next two junior shows for 2013 and early 2014.

Following the overwhelming success of The Phantom of the Opera by MADS seniors it is now the turn of the juniors to perform on stage.

The first production will be ‘Peter Pan’ which runs from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27.

Tickets at £5 are now on sale from Print Business Supplies Lurgan and St Anthony’s Centre.

Newly elected chairperson of the drama society Michael Murray said: “We are victims of our own success that we now have so many young talented people looking to perform on stage for the drama society.

“Hence the decision to split them into two groups and give each member a chance.

“The first group of our juniors will be performing Peter Pan and the second group which also involves MADS kids will take to the stage in early January to perform The Wizard Of Oz. It’s a busy time for the society but we have a very strong and experienced production team who will make sure both shows are up to MADS high standards.”
