Tygers roar into the Diamond

The band - along with Iron Maiden and Saxon - are widely regarded as starting the 'New Wave of British Heavey Metal' movement.

2010 is the 30th anniversary of their debut album Wild Cat being released and to mark the occasion the band recently went into the studio to re-record five tracks from the original album.

This subsequent recording was released in late March entitled The Wildcat Sessions.

The band are embarking on a full blown tour to promote the Wildcat Sessions and the Diamond Rock Club on Saturday night is one of the dates - the band's only Irish date.

Support on the night comes from top local band A Little Bitter, who have just released their second album New Dawn Evolution.
