U3A exhibition of art, craft and photography

THE members of U3A Foyle will present their 2013 Art, Photographic & Craft Exhibition from April 22 to 25.

The official opening will be performed by the internationally renowned artist and sculptor, Maurice Harron, who is responsible for the Strabane ‘Tinnies’ the ‘Let the dance begin’ sculpture, as well as the famous sculpture at Carlisle Circus, ‘Hands across the divide’.

This year the exhibition includes exhibits from arts, photography and crafts groups run at U3A Foyle during the year, including watercolours, oils and acrylics, drawings and calligraphy, Paverpol sculptures and pottery, as well as a wide range of crafts such as lace, crochet and patchwork, and photographs by the U3A Foyle Digital Camera Club.

The event is free and is optn to all at the following times: Monday, April 22 at 7pm, Tuesday 10am to 3pm and 7pm to 9pm, Wednesday 10am to 3pm and 7pm to 9pm and Thursday, from 10am to 3pm.
