Ballywillan auditions

2017 will be Ballywillan Drama Group’s 65th birthday and to mark the occasion they are presenting a family musical that they have not staged before in over 20 years of musicals – Annie. The Kelly Hall, Victoria Street, Portrush will be the venue for the eagerly anticipated auditions on Thursday, May 19 from 7.15pm. As the show has 16 performances the role will have two actresses playing alternate shows. Annie has a ‘playing age’ of 11 according to the script but the two girls chosen may be older. There are six principal orphans who will also be auditioned on the night. The principal adult actors will also be auditioned for. With forty-six named parts and an ensemble of adults and children there is ample opportunity to appear in the show. www.ballywillan.com
