Vengaboys are back

EURO dance-pop sensations Vengaboys return to Belfast on May Bank Holiday weekend.

The Dutch group, famed for a string of Top 10 hits throughout the 90s, perform at Beach, Odyssey Pavilion Belfast, on Sunday May 5.

The brainchild of producers Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen (Danski and Delmundo), Vengaboys enjoyed huge commercial success throughout Europe and USA.

Their first single ‘Up & Down’ was initially released in March 1997 and instantly became a chart hit, making the Top 5 in Netherlands, Denmark, France and Spain, before finding its way to USA and UK.

Vengaboys went on to take the UK charts by storm, grabbing two Number 1 releases and selling close to two million records with their four singles ‘Boom Boom Boom’, ‘We’re Going To Ibiza’, ‘Up & Down’, and ‘We Like To Party’.

Worldwide, the band has sold over ten million singles and over five million copies of their debut album; The Party Album.

Vengaboys perform live in Beach, Odyssey Pavilion Belfast, on Bank Holiday weekend Sunday 5 May.

Doors open at 9pm with admission costing £10 before 10.30pm and £12 after.
