Coleraine has switched on for Christmas!

On Friday evening the Mayor of Coleraine, councillor George Duddy welcomed Santa Claus to Coleraine Town Hall to switch on the new Christmas lights with a special ‘little helper’ this year.

Mya Boyd, Killowen Primary School, winner of the Mayor’s Christmas Colouring Competition, was chosen to switch on the light in the Diamond.

The remainder of the borough’s Christmas lights will be switched on as follows: Portrush: Thursday 4th December at 7.30pm; Portstewart: Friday 5th December at 5.30pm; Kilrea: Saturday 6th December at 5pm; Garvagh: Monday 8th December at 7.30pm; Casterock: Thursday 11th December at 7.30pm; Portballintrae, Saturday 13th December at 4.00pm.
