VIDEO: Local performers in Walled City Tattoo

Ebrington Square in Derry/Londonderry is playing host this week to the Walled City Tattoo.

The massed bands of the Walled City Tattoo take centre stage at Ebrington Square in Derry-Londonderry last night

Running until Saturday, the Tattoo’s theme this year is Transport.

With more than 500 performers from countries such as Malta, France, Germany and Switzerland, there was also a local aspect to the spectacular show.

To mark the centenary of the beginning of World War 1, Londonderry Musical Society (LMS) performed a musical number called ‘Band of Brothers’ along with the Britannia Concert Band and Hamilton Flute Band.

Among the performers with LMS were local members of Portrush Music Society.
