Vintage Rally

Starting at 11 a.m., the event is being staged in a field kindly donated by Liam Devlin.

Vintage tractors, motor bikes, cars, stationary engines, commercial lorries, vintage machinery, vintage military and steam engines will be on display and, no doubt, gleaming.

There will be a variety of trade stands, crafts and produce stalls, plants, auto-jumble and car boot.

The children’s area includes bouncy castles and farm animals. They can avail of fruit smoothies, ice cream, juices, tea and coffee with sandwiches and a barbecue will also be held.

Top quality shields will be handed out for the various sections at 3 pm. following a raffle on stage.

Music and dancing demonstrations will be an ongoing feature of the day’s proceedings.

The organisers promise a great day out for the family and are keeping their fingers crossed that the weather will smile on them.

Admission is 3 for adults and primary school children will get in free.

Proceeds are in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
