‘Vital’ service unveiled

Translink is providing a special coach service for music fans travelling to see performances from rock stars Foo Fighters and The Stone Roses at Boucher Playing Fields, South Belfast, August 21 - 22.

With around 70,000 fans expected at the Tennent’s Vital two-day festival, Translink, the PSNI and Belfast City Council are encouraging people to use coach travel to South Belfast including special late night return services to bring people safely home.

Translink’s Louise Scott says using the special services will be a hassle-free way to get to and from the concerts:

Special return coach tickets are £15 and are now available to buy online only until 11pm on the night before each concert,” said Louise.

A special return coach service will run from Londonderry Foyle Street Bus Station at 1pm travelling to the festival site, making a number of stops along the way, including Dungiven.
