Watch: Mid Ulster BB Battalion on parade in Tobermore

The annual church parade and services of the Mid-Ulster Battalion of the Boys' Brigade was hosted today, Palm Sunday, by the 1st Tobermore Company in the South Londonderry village.

As this was the first time they have hosted the Battalion Parade since their 40th Anniversary back in 1998 the local Company looked forward to welcoming the Battalion, Officers’ and Boys’ this year to Tobermore.

The parade formed up at the Business Units at Desertmartin Road before making its way from Desertmartin Road on to Main Street where the Company Section Boys’ attended a service in the Carson Memorial Baptist Church, and the Junior Section Boys’ continued to Kilcronaghan Parish Church for their service.

The bands leading the parade were Crimson Star Accordion Band and Castledawson Flute Band.

Companies on parade were from Armagh, Aughnacloy & Ballymagrane, Bellaghy, Caledon, Castlecaulfield, Castledawson, Cookstown, Culnady, Dungannon, Maghera, Magherafelt, Moneymore, Moy, Newmills, Stewartstown and Tobermore.
