This event is being held in association with Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival 2015.

‘Arrow of Portmoon’ was a famous racing skiff from the north coast, originally built in the 1850s. It was designed to race and was used by the fishermen of the north coast for racing events in the summer months.

During this talk, James Wilkinson will trace how he researched the boat’s history, its restoration and its final resting place at the Community Learning Centre at the Giant’s Causeway where it may be viewed by arrangement.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
