Win tickets to the bridge

THE 'MAIL' has two pairs of tickets of tickets to give away for County Down's newest music festival.

On July 3, The Futureheads will be igniting the main stage at Take it to the Bridge at Corbet Lough in Banbridge. And you could be there too thanks to the 'MAIL'. To be in with a chance of winning tickets read on.

The Futureheads will be followed by an impressive collection of up-and-coming signed talent to complete the Take it to the Bridge line-up. The bill includes And So I Watch You From Afar, The Complete Stone Roses, Spectrum 7, Panama Kings, Max Raptor, A Plastic Rose and Strait Laces.

Take it to the Bridge will also be holding a 'Battle to the Bridge' for unsigned acts, voting will take place on the website with further details of the winning prize to be announced soon.

Headliners The Futureheads have attracted legions of fans with their rousing, post-punk rock - a sound that has and won them support slots to the Pixies, Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol.

A tight unit for the last ten years, The Futureheads are known for their impressive live performances and have graced the stages of most major music festivals in the UK and Ireland including Glastonbury, Oxegen and Leeds and Reading - which they've just signed up to attend this year.
