Win tickets to the Elvis Spectacular at the Riverside

IN 2008 he topped the Forbes list of highest-earning dead celebrities for the fourth consecutive year, generating $45m (£25m).

Conspiracy theories about his death notwithstanding, his legacy is alive and kicking in his music and films - Elvis will never truly leave the building!

Now the Riverside Theatre is hosting an Elvis Spectacular next month and, as official media partner to the theatre, The Coleraine Times has THREE pairs of tickets to give away to the show.

Mervyn Boyd (50), a music promoter and entertainer living in Belfast, said: “The first time I saw Elvis was on British TV in the 1970s and I was instantly hooked. He looked like a god and sounded fantastic.”

Mervin’s Tribute Show - The Elvis Spectacular, which always sells out, is back at the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine on Saturday, October 9 8pm.

The spectacular is basically an Elvis concert with a totally live band. It features an Elvis impersonator who chooses what kind of Elvis he want to be - rockabilly from the 50s or the comeback years with the jump suits. Right now it’s CC Houlihan, the winner of the Paddy Powers All Ireland Elvis Contest 2009. Since they started they've been all over the UK and Ireland, played big venues like the Waterfront Hall and once even performed for U2.

Tickets cost 16, concession 14 and are available from the Riverside Box Office on Tel: 028 7032 3232 or online at www.riversidetheatre.org.uk
