Wrestlemania returns to Ballymena

BALLYMENA is set to rock once again as wrestling.ie rolls into town on February 20, bringing its hugely popular Live American Wrestling event.

Back due to popular demand, The Seven Towers Leisure Centre will play host to a thrilling Main Event Match, with a 10 Man Elimination Survivor Series Match headlining the card.

This fantastic family-centred show will also feature a host of other matches, with high-flying, powerhouse grappling and even a few laughs, to cater for all.

The Survivor Series Elimination match is one of the true spectacles of wrestling, as it pits two teams of five men against each other – the result is body-slamming, earth-shattering action that will leave fans breathless!

With 10 of the world's highly-talented and widely-travelled wrestlers involved, this match is sure bruise more than just egos, but only one team can prevail – will it be the Risk-Takers or the Rule-Breakers?

Among the stars on the night will be none other than hometown hero, Ballymena's own gentle giant... The seven feet tall, 23 stone Tron, who will be looking to impress on the night. Also due to appear are the likes of European High-Flying Sensation 'Zero Gravity' Bingo Ballance, as well as The 'Mysterious Demon' Omen, and ‘Vigilante’ Johnny Moss, among many more.

Also of interest to fans is the brand new wrestling.ie 2010 Spring Season Tournament, with Ballymena hosting the second round on February 20. Over a 20-week period, 10 of the top wrestlers will battle each other to see who is crowned champion in what is sure to be an epic tournament.
