20th anniversary Causeway Speciality Market in Coleraine cancelled due to forecast of high winds
The 20th anniversary Causeway Speciality Market which was due to take place on Saturday, April 11, has been cancelled due to forecasted high winds.
In a post on social media on Thursday, April 9, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council said: “Due to forecasted high winds, we have made the decision to cancel the Causeway Speciality Market this Saturday, 11th April.
"Keeping traders, visitors, and staff safe is our priority, and under these conditions we simply cannot proceed.
"But there’s good news! Our 20th Anniversary celebrations are now rescheduled for Saturday 11th July 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you for local produce, crafts, and family activities – a true celebration of everything that makes our market so special.”
