‘Average’ Ballymena house now costs £118,772
The average house price in Ballymena is now £118,772 - a rise of 5.4% over the quarter but a fall of 4.8% over the year.
There is considerable variability by property type. Terraced/townhouses are down 5.8% over the quarter but up 2.2% over the year to £74,746. Semi-detached houses (£92,613) have a significantly lower average sale price relative to the final quarter of 2012 and declined by 3.8% over the quarter.
In contrast, detached houses (£194,871) have performed better with price levels consolidating over the quarter though still down on an annual basis.
