Representatives from Newtownabbey Road Safety Committee and North Belfast MLA Paula Bradley were among those who attended the event at Bailies’ garage on Ballyhenry Road.

Bailies, which supports the Federation of Small Businesses’ ‘Keep Trade Local Campaign’, invited along a number of other local traders and organisations to participate in the event.

Ian Cummins had his award winning MX5 on display and members of the Ju-Jitsu Club from the Valley Leisure Centre showed the ladies some self defence moves. AC Catering provided the food, beauty treatments were given by Christine and a balloon display was put on by Celebration Balloons.

During the event, a grand total of £235 pounds was collected for the Whiteabbey Action Cancer Group.
