Speaking at the event, Danske Bank Chief Economist Angela McGowan said: “With a number of economic indicators showing that we are finally turning the corner in terms of recovery, now is the time for our local companies to start investing in their businesses. Both business and consumer confidence are now on the up and I would expect this to have a positive impact on economic growth in the months ahead.”

Delegates also heard from Danske Bank customer Mark Hutchinson from Hutchinson Engineering and Head of Danske Bank’s Derry-Londonderry Finance Centre Redmond McFadden, who highlighted how Danske Bank is providing practical and dynamic support for local businesses who are ‘good to grow’.
