“Last year we tested the waters with our first event and had a crowd of some 60 people representing a variety of businesses from within the constituency. This year we doubled that number which I think is evidence that the DUP recognises its responsibility to local and national trade and industry and also that business is keen to engage with government.”

She added: “South Antrim is a real hub of economic activity with many major businesses bringing jobs and investment into our local and national economy and we as politicians must listen to their views and offer as much support as we can.”
