Coronavirus: All MOT testing suspended immediately
MOT testing at local vehicle test centres has been suspended with immediate effect due to the coronavirus outbreak.

A Department for Infrastructure spokesperson said: “All MOT test centres are now closed for all vehicle testing. In this critical week, it is important we do what we can to further prevent the spread of Covid-19 and protect our customers and staff.
“Work is underway to out a solution in place for four-year-old cars and taxis. Driving licence renewals for cars, tractors and motorbikes will now be online only. Please do not submit first-time driver licence applications at this time.
“We apologise for any inconvenience, but protecting the health of our staff and customers is the priority at this very difficult time.”
