Cullybackey ‘eco-housing’ development is approved

A DEVELOPMENT of 17 dwellings has been given the go-ahead in Cullybackey by planners despite receiving 11 letters of objection.

The approval of the proposal, which centres on lands opposite Tobar Park, was presented to Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee of Ballymena Borough Council.

Proposed by Abode Housing Association Ltd., the plan comprises 13 Eco-Lifetime houses and four Eco-Lifetime apartments.

Councillors were made aware by the Planning Service that Rivers information had been received and the layout of the proposal had been amended.
