Domino’s to open new store

BANBRIDGE will be getting a slice of Domino’s Pizza tomorrow (Wednesday).

The fast food firm will be opening it’s new takeaway in Church Street in the town, creating 30 jobs in the process.

Commenting on its new store in Banbridge, a spokesperson for Domino’s Pizza said: “We are very much looking forward to opening yet another new store in Northern Ireland. “This store, which will be our forth in Northern Ireland in 2011, will be located on Church Street, in Banbridge.

“The franchisee and his team of managers, pizza makers, customer service representatives and delivery experts are looking forward to serving homes in the area with Domino’s delicious piping hot pizza.

“Domino’s Pizza takes its role as a responsible neighbour very seriously and our franchisees work very hard to play an active role in the community, not only to deliver great tasting pizza but also to support numerous local charities, groups and events.”

Founded in 1960, Domino’s is the second-largest pizza chain in the United States and has nearly 9,000 corporate and franchised stores in 60 countries. Their first UK store opened in 1985 and the first Irish store opened in 1991.

There are over 660 Domino’s Pizza stores in a growing number of towns and cities throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and they employ 20,000 people throughout their outlets.
