He said: “Twenty years ago Chamber activity revolved around Christmas advertising campaign, Christmas lights, Mayor’s show, Council rates and Annual dinner.

“Although we still host an annual dinner which is still important to us, and we still keep a watch on local council and advocate against any rates increases I believe that the Chamber has become more strategic in their activities.

“The Chamber has increased their business lobbying with local government, Stormont and Westminster, and is now recognised as the business voice for the Borough.

“We have increased our networking and business information events and we continue to work in partnership with Coleraine Borough Council, Causeway Enterprise Agency and University of Ulster.”

She thanked the Chamber’s Corporate Sponsors – Autoline Insurance Group, Irwin Donaghey Stockman, Riada Resourcing, Roadside Garages & W.Oliver (Exorna) for their continued support and assured members that the Chamber will continue to provide a full calendar of events which will give ample opportunities to promote many businesses and reap the rewards of their commitment to the borough.
