Export programme seeking local firms

The search is on to identify companies in Ballymena to participate in an innovative programme to win £5,000 support for their exporting plans.

The first phase of the Grow Global Export Programme saw a total of 30 companies in Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne develop and pitch their export plans.

The programme is part financed by Invest Northern Ireland and European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.

An information session to recruit local businesses on to the second phase of the Programme will be held at The Braid, 1-29 Bridge Street, Ballymena on Wednesday 27th August at 4.00pm.

The Programme is offered free to companies by the North East Economic Development Forum – comprising the Councils of Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne.

Barbara Orr from Full Circle Management Solutions who will be facilitating the information sessions said, “Any company in the Ballymena area is welcome to attend to find out more about the Programme.”
