Festive fun as Santa returns to the Plaza

The festive season is well underway in Lurgan with Santa back by popular demand on the Plaza this Saturday.

After the success of his visit last week, he has been replenishing his toy stocks and looking after Rudolph in Lapland in preparation for his return this Saturday from 10am to 4pm and even better your visit will be free.

He will be once again taking up residence in his traditional log cabin, complete with picket fence and roaring fire waiting to hear all the young ones Christmas wishes.

Parents will be encouraged to take magical pictures on their smart phones and each child will receive a chocolate lolly, handcrafted by Lurgan chocolatier Caroline McArdle.

A queuing system will be in operation but once again there are plenty of fun-filled festive activities to keep all the family entertained while you wait.

From 10am to 12noon jazz guitarist Maxl Walmsley Pledl will be entertaining the crowds with magical Christmas classics. The U105 Roadshow with guest host John Daly will also be rocking up on the Plaza with live entertainment and great music to get everyone in the Christmas mood.

With Face painting & balloon modelling from 1pm to 4pm and street entertainment from 10am to 1pm, this is a day out not to miss while Christmas shopping throughout the town.
