The competition saw a very special version ‘Freddie Forte’, the NITB Giro mascot, featuring a Madigan Pro Bike Centre logo (sponsors of the competition), hidden in shops about the town in the days running up to the race.

Each day, clues were provided on council’s Facebook and Twitter page of Freddie’s whereabouts. Entrants had to identify each of his five locations to be in with a chance of winning a £100 voucher for Madigan Pro Bike Centre.

Ronnie McKeegan from Madigan’s drew the winner out with the prize going to Margaret Robb.
