Free food and drink at Lurgan market

Wrap up warm and get down to the plaza to finish off your Christmas shopping in style with a wide variety of stunningly unique gifts to make your loved ones smile. Between 11.30am and 12.30pm you can enjoy a hot drink of your choice from local companies Café Palomo and ICONS Coffee House. You can also sample some sumptuous treats provided by Lurgan Market traders Cirillo Chocolate, Toppings Patisserie and The Tea Boutique while you browse around the 17 stalls selling a wide variety of goods.

Choose from fragrances, rugs and collectables, ladies accessories, clothes, handbags, crafts and vintage, fancy goods, artisan chocolate and electronic cigarettes. Don’t forget to stock up on some fresh food for Christmas as well with eggs, fish and patisseries all on offer and fresh flowers for that finishing touch.

Finally, Craigavon Borough Council will also be giving out free reusable hessian bags to shoppers – so why not make this your ‘Market Bag’ and fill it up.

“We are absolutely delighted that our local coffee shops and the traders are coming together to offer shoppers a warm drink and tasty bites on a cold winter’s day,” commented Alderman Arnold Hatch.

“It is certainly the season of goodwill and we look forward to seeing shoppers coming down on market day and supporting their local town and traders while enjoying a little bit of local hospitality.”

The Market runs every Thursday from 9am to 2pm.
